At Knoxville – Knox County CAC Head Start, we are committed to the belief that every child, regardless of circumstances at birth, has the ability to succeed in life. We offer three comprehensive programs for low-income children and their families, which actively encourage and promote healthy social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth and development. Head Start (HS)
A preschool program for children ages 3-5 and their families.
Early Head Start (EHS)
A childcare program for infants and toddlers under 3 years of age and their families.
Home Based Learning (EHS)
A family education program where home visitors bring educational, interactive lessons for parents to engage with their children in their home.
