On April 25, 2025, federal funding was discontinued for CAC AmeriCorps and many other AmeriCorps programs across Tennessee. While this change brought challenges, our members, partners, and community have shown incredible resilience.

Many members continued their service as volunteers or ...were temporarily hired by their sites to complete their work, demonstrating the lasting impact of national service.

Watch this video featuring CAC AmeriCorps alumni as they reflect on how their service shaped their lives, careers, and the communities they served. Their stories highlight the deep and lasting value of AmeriCorps in East Tennessee.
