Transforming Western, Program Manager

The Transforming Western Program Manager is responsible for providing team supervision, comprehensive case management, referrals, and seamless coordination with supportive service partners to enhance the quality of life for residents of the Western Heights Choice Neighborhood Initiative (CNI). This position will supervise the team of case managers and community center staff to identify appropriate strategies and interventions to ensure residents are stable and thriving. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this position will serve individuals and families to develop strategies for achieving self-sufficiency. Conduct interviews and provide counseling; refer clients to other community agencies for support services and training; monitor client progress; provide follow-up services and crises intervention if indicated; assist with job placement; enter data; track performance outcomes; maintain records; and make reports. Assist the unit director with community outreach and collaboration, program development, grant management, and assisting with reports and statistical data. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Adult Education or a related field and at least three year’s relevant work experience, including supervision. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Master’s Degree preferred with experience in outcome-based programs. Must have a reliable automobile for daily use (mileage reimbursed). Salary $ 43,135+ depending upon qualifications. Transit Fleet Safety Manager

Seeking an experienced individual with a high level of commitment to quality and strict adherence to safety regulations and policies. This position is responsible for maintaining fleet of transit vehicles, including inspecting vehicles for safety and cleanliness and arranging all vehicle maintenance, repairs and cleaning. Responsible for preparing and maintaining vehicle maintenance reports. Responsible for preparing and maintaining Federal Transit Administration Transit Asset Management and Safety Plans. Serve as relief Training and Compliance Specialist as needed. Inspect vehicle cameras and recording system for performance and accuracy. Respond to vehicle breakdown or accident as needed; perform investigation of accidents and incidents and prepare reports. Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience, with knowledge of vehicle procurement, vehicle maintenance and repair, vehicle fueling, and vehicle safety inspections. Basic knowledge in computer software applications and experience in driver training and customer service is also desirable. Able to obtain instructor certification in a variety of training programs. A Class C Commercial Drives License with Passenger Endorsement is desired. Ability to pass drug screening and adhere to the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Regulations. Mobile Meals Kitchen Operations Associate I

Reliable, hardworking individual needed at the CAC Mobile Meals Kitchen to perform all aspects of food service, including assisting in the preparation of food, traying of food on tray line, cupping line, and bread line, and counting and packing hot and cold food, and reheating of food for delivery. This position assists in the daily sanitation of the Mobile Meals Kitchen, including the sanitizing of all equipment, floors, pots, and pans. Must be able to clearly and consistently following established procedures, commit to a high level of quality and strict adherence to sanitation guidelines. Food service background and training is preferred. This individual must be able to pass ServSafe Food Handler Safety Course, physical, criminal background check, and a post offer drug screen. Vehicle Operator

Reliable, caring person needed to work full-time or part-time. Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, and weekends. A valid Tennessee Driver’s License and an excellent driving record required. Must be able to assist passengers on and off the vehicle, including those with disabilities and in wheelchairs. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, read, write, compute, and have good communications skills. If hired, DOT physical exam , alcohol and drug screen, national criminal background screening required.
