Qualifications: Associates Degree and administrative training or equivalent combination of education and work experience with excellent computer skills, financial record keeping, and customer service experience. Ability to pass alcohol and drug screening and adhere to the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Regulations. Ability to pass a physical examination. This full-time position is 40 hrs/week

Job Title: Financial / Compliance Manager
Summary: An employee in this classification receives supervision from the Assistant Transportation Director. An individual in this position is responsible for maintaining driver records and maintaining, uploading, and submitting compliance documents for all sponsored trips. An individual in this position is responsible for the billing of services and the preparation of invoices and purchase orders and must have high level for accuracy in the entering of payroll, billing, and purchasing card information. This individual must have a high level of commitment to quality and strict adherence to safety regulations and policies are essential to this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining driver records, including tracking of expirations of licenses, certifications, and training.
- Responsible for maintaining, uploading, and submitting compliance documents and audit reports for all sponsored trips.
- Responsible for the preparations of billing of services, invoices and purchase orders.
- Responsible for scanning, processing, validating, and entering data into computer system for purchasing card.
- Responsible for receiving, counting, tracking and preparing passenger revenue for deposit.
- Assist in the entering and validating the computer-generated log sheets on a daily basis.
- Assist in the entering driver start and end time as necessary for time and attendance records and preparing and submitting all payroll information.
- Assists in the preparation of various documents, including reports, grants, sponsored trips, application, and other correspondence.
- Assists as necessary in the answering of multi-line telephone and recording client information necessary to determine eligibility for services.
- Refer or report all unusual or difficult requests to supervisor.
- Other activities as needed to insure the success of the program.

- Must pass a fingerprint criminal background check required by TDHS Licensing Standards.
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules, early and late shifts, odd hours, weekends and holidays, adjusting as necessary on short notice.
- Must be willing and able to report to work during inclement weather.
Education and Experience: Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in financial and compliance management. Skill in current word processing and spreadsheet computer software applications, and extensive work experience and/or training in transportation, computers, office procedures, and customer service is also desirable. Ability to pass a criminal background check, pass drug and alcohol screening and adhere to the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Regulations.
