| O'Connor Senior Center...Good for Your Health! |
Knox County senior adults have a remarkable resource
for health screenings, health education, and
health fitness programs
at the O’Connor Senior Center (Center).
| |
A registered nurse coordinates the Center’s Health Services Program
and is available to help with specific medical concerns
or to offer guidance through the health care maze. |
| |
Blood pressure screening, blood glucose monitoring, toenail clipping, weight loss support, and diabetic education/support are some of the regularly scheduled Health Services programs at the Center. |
| |

Additionally, the Center offers varying levels of daily exercise, water aerobics, line dancing, and hiking; monthly education programs also feature latest developments in health care. Meeting dates and times for these events are listed in monthly issues of Elder News & Views. |
