Knox County senior adults have a remarkable resource
for health screenings, health education, and
health fitness programs
at the O’Connor Senior Center (Center). 


 
O'Connor....A Place to Add Life to Your Years
 
A registered nurse coordinates the Center’s Health Services Program
and is available to help with specific medical concerns or to offer guidance through the health care maze.

 

O'Connor has a frinedly & knowledgeable nurse to help you.
 
Blood pressure screening, blood glucose monitoring, toenail clipping, weight loss support, and diabetic education/support are some of the regularly scheduled Health Services programs at the Center.

Additionally, the Center offers varying levels of daily exercise, water aerobics, line dancing, and hiking; monthly education programs also feature latest developments in health care.  Meeting dates and times for these events are listed in monthly issues of Elder News & Views.
