Homeward Bound: Self Sufficiency Youth Case Manager

Work with at-risk youth who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless to develop strategies for achieving self sufficiency. Conduct interviews and provide counseling; refer clients to other community agencies for support services and training; monitor client progress; provide follow-up services and crises intervention if indicated; assist with job placement; maintain records; and make reports. Four years of college or a combination of education and work experience in social work, human services, adult education, or related field. Must have a reliable automobile for daily use (mileage reimbursed). Salary $28,629+ depending upon qualifications. Head Start – Data Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS
Computer training/experience as data entry operator required. Preferred experience with IBM-compatible PC’s, data base software, Excel and word processing. Must have background of clerical training and skills. Good communication skills, writing skills, and organizational/system skills required. Head Start experience preferred. Must have car for work related travel, mileage reimbursed.

PERFORMANCE PLAN/JOB ELEMENTS
1. Enters information into MIS system for assigned components/service areas and to assist others as needed.
2. Prepares and distributes timely, accurate computer reports for assigned components, and otherwise as assigned, in compliance with system calendars and schedules; and assures appropriate filing and storage of original documents and reports generated.
3. Provides staff assistance and support to coordinators/staff of assigned components in data collection, preparation for data entry, and record/documents filing and storage.
4. Complies with policies and procedures established for the maintenance, care and use of computer equipment, accessories, and software and assists the Program Manager for Administrative Services as assigned on the daily set up, operation, close down, and back up of the system.
5. Assists in the required recordkeeping and documentation necessary for assigned components, and for the computer and MIS systems.
6. Demonstrates professional behaviors and work habits and practices in compliance with agency and program policies and procedures, and goals and objectives.

CAC Head Start – Food Service Assistant

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Food Service experience
Established work history
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s license (CDL)
Be at least 25 years of age (DOT requirement to obtain the CDL)
Passing criminal background check (fingerprint, vulnerable person’s registry, etc.)
Physical ability – lifting up to 50 pounds, moving stock, pushing carts, etc.

CAC Transit, Vehicle Operator

VEHICLE OPERATOR

Knox County CAC Transit VEHICLE OPERATOR

Reliable, caring person needed to work full-time or part-time. Available schedules include daytime, evenings, nights, and weekends. A valid Tennessee Driver’s License with F Endorsement and an excellent driving record are required. Must be able to assist passengers on and off the vehicle, including those with disabilities and those in wheelchairs. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, read, write, compute, and have good communications skills. If hired, DOT physical exam with drug screening is required and a National Criminal Background screening will be conducted. A Commercial Class C License with Passenger Endorsement is required and candidate will have up to three (3) months to obtain after hire date. Starting hourly rate with CDL is $11.30 per hour. Provide oversight and data management for agency wide reporting using the e-Logic data base software system. Coordinate and monitor data entry by agency staff, run diagnostic reports, meet with agency staff to ensure data quality, provide report analysis, assist with completion of reports, and conduct on-site training for data entry staff. Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a BS in Social Work with a concentration in research, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics and experience in office procedure, word processing, database management, etc. preferred . An equivalent combination of related work experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
